I was thinking today about how our medical technology has improved over the years with the advancement of new tests.  We can check for genetic defects, scan our bodies for clogged arteries, tumors, irregularities in our organs, etc.  It really is pretty amazing.  We have tests approved by the FDA and tests not approved but in use today.  Tests that involve quantum physics, infrared, radio frequencies, electromagnetic frequencies, etc.  The big question comes when you need a diagnosis and wonder what test is the most useful.  Another is, do you merge Western medicine with Eastern medicine or alternative care.  For some generations of people, all they know is Western medicine and rely heavily on it for their health outcomes.  Other generations seek a combination of both.  It would be interesting to know what the success rates are and compare them.

All these choices can give us excellent care.  Western medicine has historically used the best of technology with the use of surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and pharmeceutical drugs for healing.  Eastern medicine relies more on healing the body using the mind, herbal medicine, vitamin and mineral supplementation and good food nutrition, preferably organic with other techniques such as accupuncture, massage, etc.  Alternative medicine uses a combination of all of these options.
